Belt Grinding Machines
Compact, high-performance bench-top belt grinder designed specifically for maximum precision finishing, roughing, and super-finishing operations. Thanks to its stability and versatility, the machine is highly valued and widely used in the **medical** and orthopedic sectors for finishing implants and prostheses, as well as for small components in high-tech industries. **Standard 3-roller version**: streamlined architecture consisting of a drive wheel, an upper tensioning/tracking roller, and a contact wheel. **Special 4-roller version**: adds a backing platen for flat grinding to the standard configuration, strategically positioned just above the contact wheel, allowing the operator to alternate between contoured processing and flattening on the same machine. The machine is equipped with an **abrasive belt with a 2500 mm length**. It can be configured for belt widths of 12, 25, or 50 mm and is designed to accommodate contact wheels with **diameters of ø200, ø250, or ø270 mm**. The standard integrated pneumatic tensioning system compensates in real time for minor stretching of the abrasive belt, ensuring automatic, constant tension. Configurable with **1.5 kW or 2.2 kW motors**, available in two variants: -Dual speed (**1500 / 3000 rpm**) with an electromagnetic disc brake for an instantaneous mechanical stop when the emergency circuit is opened. -Variable speed (**600 - 3600 rpm**): managed via inverter to vary the cutting speed according to the abrasive and the processed material, featuring smooth deceleration ramps and a fast emergency stop. The machine structurally integrates a guard equipped with a dual extraction outlet for optimal channeling of fine dust and sparks. For the completely safe processing of critical materials such as **titanium**, a special configuration with an **all-aluminum guard** is available to prevent the risk of frictional spark ignition.
