Designed for metalworking and finishing departments that require high productivity, maximum versatility, and full compliance with safety regulations, this manual belt grinder stands out for its completely independent **dual-motor** architecture. The separate-motor engineering strictly complies with the most stringent occupational safety legislation. This configuration allows two operators to work simultaneously on the same machine in total autonomy and safety, as each workstation is electrically and mechanically isolated from the other. It is the ideal tool to cover the entire machining cycle of the workpiece: from roughing and heavy stock-removal operations to satin-finishing and final surface finishing. The machine is equipped with two independent non-ventilated **4.4 kW** motors, featuring a cast iron housing. They are available in three speed control configurations to adapt to any workflow: -fixed speed at **3000 rpm** or dual speed at **3000/1500 rpm**, complete with an electronic brake, ideal for constant and efficient stock removal and roughing. -variable speed (**600 - 3000 rpm**) managed via inverter, to finely modulate the cutting speed based on the machined material (aluminum, steel, brass, titanium) and the type of belt used, optimizing the transition from roughing to fine finishing. The belt tracking arms are designed to accommodate abrasive belts with a 3000 mm length, an optimal size to ensure natural belt cooling and significantly extend its service life. The system is flexible and configurable: -set up for **widths from 50 to 100 mm**. -compatible with **ø250 mm or ø300 mm wheels**, available in our catalog in a wide range of materials (serrated rubber, smooth rubber, foam) and various Shore hardnesses, which are essential for calibrating cutting aggressiveness or the flexibility needed to follow workpiece geometries during finishing. Standard configuration with a mechanical rack-and-pinion system, or optional with a pneumatic cylinder for constant and automatic compensation of belt stretch under heavy loads. In line with the legal requirements for workstation independence, the machine is equipped with a dual emergency stop foot pedal system (one on each side). Each operator can instantly and independently stop the movement of their own belt by foot pressure, keeping their hands firmly on the workpiece for maximum operational control.
