Specifically designed for manufacturing industries and laboratories, this belt grinder represents the ideal solution for roughing, shaping, and finishing contoured parts with tight curves and complex geometries. Thanks to the small contact wheel (ø50 mm) and a highly compact footprint, the machine is the tool of choice for specialized sectors such as the production of cutlery, knives, surgical instruments, and small metal hardware, where agile access to very tight radii is required. It features a **ø50 mm contact wheel** with a 25 mm width, paired with an abrasive belt with a 2000 mm length. The length of the belt ensures excellent thermal dissipation on the workpiece and a longer abrasive life. The** 1.5 kW non-ventilated motor** ensures high power and maximum silent operation. The machine can be configured in two versions: -fixed speed (**3000 rpm**): with a disc brake to guarantee an immediate and safe mechanical stop of the belt. -variable speed (**600 - 3600 rpm**): managed via inverter, essential for adjusting the cutting speed according to the processed material and the type of abrasive belt. As standard, the machine is equipped with a time-tested mechanical rack-and-pinion system. As an option,** tensioning of the abrasive belt via pneumatic cylinder** can be requested, which maintains a constant pressure by automatically compensating for belt elongation during processing. The belt is enclosed within a protective guard complete with an adjustable extraction outlet to optimize the collection flow of dust and sparks directly at the source. The standard configuration includes an emergency stop foot pedal positioned at the base of the machine, allowing the operator to instantaneously interrupt the work cycle in total safety even when hands are busy.
